The ACBO organization is from Australia and was founded in 1987 with the help of COVD and OEP. This website provides an excellent resource for the public and optometrists to learn about behavioral optometric vision care. National PTA

PTA is the largest volunteer child advocacy association in the nation.  National Parent Teacher Association (PTA) has adopted “hundreds of resolutions and position statements on a wide variety of national education, health, and safety issues since its first convention in 1897.”  The National PTA Position Statement Elements of Comprehensive Health Programs is listed on the web page as one of the most commonly requested resolutions and position statements.
